“Peter Clayton first played the organ when he was a young chorister at Waltham Abbey, but it was only after retiring from teaching that he switched his allegiance from flute playing and began to concentrate on playing the organ.
He has been organist at St Mary Magdalen Church in Thorrington for 15 years, and plays as a freelance organist in many churches in N.E. Essex and Suffolk. He regularly accompanies the Deanery Choir, plays harpsichord continuo with Suffolk Strings, and is the harpsichordist in the Wollaston Consort.”
