Exciting news! There will be a Napoleonic weekend at Beacon Hill Fort, Harwich and the Harwich Redoubt this summer on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th August 2023. Scroll to the bottom of this page for tickets.
Here are the details:
A weekend of Napoleonic Military re-enactment of British and French troops, including Kings Own German Artillery, The Buffs and 95th Rifles, combining troop movement, skirmishes and living history displays at Harwich Beacon Hill Fort, Barrack Lane, Harwich CO12 3FR and Harwich Redoubt, 29 Main Rd, Harwich CO12 3LT.
Admission by ticket only. Limited number of admissions per day.
Adult admission £6.00 on the day. Advance tickets online £5.00 via the Harwich Festival web site.
Accompanied children under 16 Free (must have a ticket). Available on-line or by emailing chris@harwichfestival.com
*Please note displays include loud cannon and musket fire which can disturb the very young, some people with hearing problems and sensitive dogs.
