Bee Friendly!

Bee Friendly

Thinking about taking part in the Flower Show to Celebrate of our Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, but not sure where to start?

Now is the time to sow some seeds in a pot of compost to encourage them to grow and be ready in all their glory for the 5th June.

There are lots of Bee Friendly plants to choose from including primroses, lavender, foxgloves, sage and borage.

Do you know that the honey bee is the only insect that produces food eaten by man?

Remember! There are 12 different classes ranging from ‘The Queens Tea Party’ to ‘The Ugliest Vegetable’ and special classes for children so there’s plenty to get involved with….

To take part contact us via info@harwichfestival.com or pop in to the Harwich Arts & Heritage Centre and say hi!

Meanwhile, find out more about the Queens Platinum Jubilee and how to get involved……..

Keep checking back for more updates!
